Mitie’s property management business has been awarded a new contract – and the largest since 2012 – with Home Group, one of the UK’s leading providers of affordable housing.
The new seven-year partnership is worth in the region of £84m and has an optional seven-year extension which would bring the total value of the contract to £168m.
Mitie has been providing repairs and maintenance to Home Group residents since embarking on an interim contract with the housing provider over a year ago. The subsequent contract award – which will see Mitie deliver responsive repairs, void works, servicing and heating repairs and planned works across central and northern regions of the UK – encapsulates the business’s mission to form long-term, collaborative relationships and deliver sustainable value to clients, customers and communities.
