Mitie was last night awarded the ‘Best rebranding’ award at the CorpComms Awards 2014 in London.
The CorpComms Awards 2014 are open to all in-house communications departments, as well as agencies who have worked closely on their campaigns.
Mitie’s new brand, created by design agency, Luminous, was designed to reflect the company’s vision to inspire change in the way people live and work. The new look is young, fresh and dynamic – it fits the business Mitie is today and its aspirations for the future.
Since the rebrand in February 2014, research reveals that prompted customer awareness of Mitie has increased by 37 per cent while unprompted awareness is up by 42 per cent, contributing to a 29 per cent increase in visits to mitie.com. 87 per cent of Mitie people view the new brand as a significant improvement, while 71 per cent say it makes them proud to work for the group.
Upon making the award, the judges commented: “This was a well-executed rebranding. Simply beautiful.”
John Telling, Group Corporate Affairs Director, commented: “We are delighted to have received this award. The new brand reflects the passion of our people and gives us a vibrant visual identity that we are all proud of.”
