Mitie, the facilities management company, has begun providing landscaping services to the NEC in Birmingham – one of Europe’s most prestigious venues for trade and consumer shows.
The three year contract, providing grounds maintenance, winter services and interior tropical plants to the Birmingham-based venue is being delivered by Mitie’s landscaping business. Mitie will also be providing pest control services to the centre.
Joe Burke, venue engineering services manager at the NEC said:
