Mitie’s Total Security Management business has been approved as a member of ADS, the trade organisation committed to advancing the UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space industries.

The security risk and business resilience division of Mitie’s Total Security Management business has a significant presence in the defence and aerospace sector. Joining ADS will further the business’ access to technical expertise and develop its experience in this important market.

The membership will provide exposure to the network of ADS members and a greater understanding of the issues and priorities for organisations within the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors.

ADS was formed with the merger of the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) and the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) in October 2009. ADS also encompasses the British Aviation Group (BAG).
