Interserve has announced a new contract which will see the company provide facilities management support to the Qatar National Theatre.
The three-year deal has been struck between the Darwish Interserve Facility Management (DIFM) group and Qatar Museums.
The prestigious 490 seater theater is located on the Doha Corniche, and was opened in 1982. It hosts a wide selection of concerts and plays and is adjacent to Rumaila Park.
DIFM will be providing a comprehensive operations and maintenance service to the theatre.
Martin Burholt, managing director of Interserve’s International Facilities Management and UK Communities business, said: “I am delighted we have secured a contract to provide facilities management support to one of Qatar’s most iconic buildings.
“We have already won two major contracts in Qatar this year, and this contract further underlines our commitment to the region.
“We are determined to provide the very best possible service to our customers.”
In 2018, DIFM has secured the contract to deliver services to the International Center for Sport Security and to the Qatar National Convention Center.
Mohamed Saadeh, general manager of Darwish Interserve, said: “We are honored to work with such a reputable organisation as the Qatar Museum and believe this illustrates the excellent quality of the services that we provide.”
